“Teenage Dream” passes two albums that each yielded six No. 1 singles since Dance/Club Play Songs launched as a national survey the week of Aug. 21, 1976. Kristine W’s “The Power of Music” followed with a six-pack of No. 1 singles in “The Boss,” “Never,” “Love Is the Look,” “Be Alright,” the title cut and “Fade” in 2008-11. (The album also includes Tony Moran’s 2007 No. 1 “Walk Away,” on which Kristine W guests, as well as a re-release of her first leader, 1994’s “Feel What You Want”).
“The One” marks Perry’s eighth Dance/Club Play Songs topper. “Waking Up in Vegas,” from her previous album “One of the Boys,” led the Aug. 22, 2009, chart.

Capitol Records is adding another weapon in its arsenal to help Katy Perry’s “The One That Got Away” reach the top of the Billboard Hot 100.
The label (Dec. 15) serviced a remix of the song featuring rapper B.o.B to pop and rhythmic radio.
Katy Perry feat. B.o.B - The One That Got Away Remix

In an attempt for the song to reach number on the Billboard Hot 100, thus breaking the record Perry tied with Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.), a remix featuring rapper B.o.B was serviced to American radio stations on December 15, 2011. It will be released for digital download, presumably on Tuesday, December 20 as that is when iTunes customarily releases new material.
